Law

The law, a construct born to uplift humanity, a framework for justice among us. Yet, it remains one of our most elusive victories—a weapon of precision, cold and unyielding, often misdirected toward the innocent. Immutable in its form, yet capable of breaking the human spirit. The memory of its creation, once woven with care, now reduced to mere identifiers—'name,' 'surname,' 'father’s name,' and the coordinates of our birth. It asks nothing of our ‘thoughts,’ ‘affections,’ ‘longings,’ or ‘dreams’—rendering all feelings irrelevant in the shadow of its rigid text. In the law’s cold embrace, emotion finds no refuge.
