The Eighth Haft Negah Exhibition: A Platform for Iranian Visual Arts

1 min read

In November 2015, I had the honor of participating in the Eighth Haft Negah Exhibition at the Niavaran Cultural Center. This significant event was organized by directors from seven well-known galleries: Aria, Elahe, Dey, Golestan, Mah Mehr, Haft Samar, and Vali, all united by the common goal of promoting Iranian visual arts.

The exhibition offered a unique platform for artists like myself to showcase our work alongside both established and emerging talents. The initiative sought to bring Iranian art to a broader audience, both within the country and internationally. In addition to the exhibition, the organizers planned various activities such as workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions, aimed at fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the arts.

For me, participating in this exhibition was not only an opportunity to present my sculptures but also a chance to connect with other artists and art lovers. It was an inspiring environment where creative ideas and cultural expression were at the forefront, and I was grateful to contribute to the growing presence of Iranian visual art on the world stage.
